A brief story of my journey with tarot:
I fell in love with the mystical art in 2016 - 8 years ago!
My mind was blown by it’s uncanny accuracy every single reading I had gotten, yes right from my very first tarot reading ever. I went to a mystic once for a reading at a shop, but in the beginning of my journey I was divinely paired with a guy a started dating who had been working with tarot for most of his life. He had a skilled multidimensional understanding of their symbolism and power. It took me a while to bring it all together and be able to work with them on my own without asking him for a second opinion.
I knew I wanted to learn for myself and help people the way he helped me. I dedicated myself to research their history and origin to make sure I had a grounded understanding and faith in the tool before I invested into decoding and using the 72 cards (144 if you include reverse). What I learned was astounding. How I interacted with them became full of reverence and respect. I was compelled to use them ritualistically every time my hands touched them. Then things started to get wild…
I learned how to successfully harmonize the gifts of the mind with the heart and soul energetic guidance of my intuition when practicing divination. My ego was nervous to share this magic to others, incase I faced judgment, but I was also so sure of the medicine in it that my inner knowing wouldn’t let me shut up about my love for it.
Now it’s become one of my favourite, cherished rituals. It’s almost psychedelic for me. Soul food, soul medicine.
I bring my cards everywhere I go now.
